THIS AFTERNOON, MAKEUP maven Kat Von D launched her eponymous makeup line and met Irish fans in Debenhams on Henry Street.

The coveted brand has been available online from Debenhams since last autumn, but is now available at counters in stores around the country.

Dedicated beauty aficionados queued up in the rain for a chance to meet Kat Von D.

Fortunately, Debenhams was on hand to distribute branded umbrellas. Phew.

Some since 8.30am this morning!

Kat Von D’s merry band of makeup artists were on hand to dole out freebies and do  a bit of face painting as fans waited in the queue.

Yes, there were branded biscuits.
